AURORA Decking System uses materials that perform in extreme conditions. Our high-quality products will not warp, crack, splinter, chip, rot, or flake when exposed to extreme heat or cold, strong winds or rain, and intense UV radiation.
AURORA Decking System never needs painting or staining, compared to wood which may need to be treated every 3 years. Dirt is easily washed away using common household detergents, water, and a soft bristled brush. Stains are easily removed using a solution of water and bleach, and other materials (such as gum and tar) can be removed using mineral spirits, lacquer thinner, and other cleaning solvents. AURORA Decking System is impervious to termites, marine borers, and other insects that can devour traditional wood decking.
AURORA Decking System has no rough edges and will not splinter, making it safe for barefoot children and pets. The special woodgrain texture increases traction to a level exceeding ADA standards for slip resistance when dry or wet. Unlike treated wood (which contains arsenic), AURORA Decking System contains no dangerous chemicals that can be transmitted through the simple touch of a child.
AURORA Decking System is made from inorganic materials and not trees, which will help preserve our precious forests for future generations. In the unlikely event that someone wishes to discard an AURORA Decking System, the materials can be recycled into other vinyl products rather than sent to a landfill.
AURORA Decking System uses a unique finishing process that adds woodgrain colors to the decking surface, resulting in a beautiful alternative to the monochromatic finishes typical of other vinyl decking systems. Our finishing process also adds a woodgrain texture to the surface which makes it look and feel even more like real wood. Because our vinyl decking contains 10 pph titanium dioxide, the colors aren't subject to extreme fading like wood or composite decking, and the woodgrain texture won't wear away. The look and feel of the AURORA Decking System are warrantied for life.
